- First, paint the Terra Cotta Pot.
Next, paint the Terra Cotta Saucer.
Paint the Drawer Knob or pull, then after it dries, attach to the Terra Cotta Saucer with E6000 glue.
After the Terra Cotta pot dries, turn it upside down and glue the Round glass candleholder to the bottom of the pot.
Allow the glue to dry for 24-48 hours and finally add a bow and candy.
Option: After the paint dries and before glueing, spray the Terra Cotta Pot and Saucer with a clear acrylic to seal it.
Need a Treat, not a Trick?
Who says Halloween is just for kids? A Halloween candy jar makes a perfect Halloween treat for a neighbor or friend. Here’s a bonus idea: Don’t fill the jar with candy, especially if your neighbor or friend is on a diet. If this is the case, then, consider filling the candy jar with nuts, dried fruit, trail mix, or even loose change. If the Halloween candy jar is a treat for a teacher, then, think about filling the jar with erasers, small post it pads, or colorful paper clips. A final option for the candy jar is a battery operated candle, which would then turn the candy jar into a fun lantern. What a fun and inexpensive treat!
